How did this happen?

This month my little girl will graduate from high school! That doesn't mean that we will lose her, but that she will be a grown up and we will start a new part of our lives. She is planning to head to the university next fall and we are excited for her!

But I will be losing a slave...I mean, a great help on the ranch. She is a great worker and we have really enjoyed having her around!

I know she has a very bright future! We are proud of you, Allie!

  2. Congratulations. This is an exciting time of life. You raised her well, gave her a better understanding of the real world than most city kids get. Often you get not only to keep a daughter but gain a dear friend as well.

  5. Congrats! When our daughter graduated, we lost our hay girl, and our son was the primary disk operator. But it's great for them to spread their wings. And it's also fun to develop a new, adult relationship with your kids. My best.
