Super Secret Beef Seasoning Recipe

Okay, so it's not a secret anymore! But I am about to share with you the recipe to make a delicious seasoning rub for multiple cuts of beef. We love it on hamburgers on the grill, grilled steaks, baked casseroles and even a chicken breast every once in awhile!

The kids and I make this beef seasoning for Christmas presents for Sunday School teachers, 4-H leaders and even bus drivers. This year we have friends who have even mentioned (mostly politely) that they are totally OUT of seasoning and hope that more will appear this year! So as I make my shopping list, I thought I'd share the recipe with you. After all, the more people enjoying our seasoning, the more people eating beef and giving the gift of delicious food! So, enjoy!

This is the label we used on our gift jars of seasoning!

Blythe's Super Secret Beef Seasoning
1 16 oz bottle of Seasoning Salt
1/4 cup paprika
1/8 cup garlic salt
1 2.5 oz bottle mesquite flavored seasoning mix
1 Tbsp black pepper
1  0.25 oz bottle dried oregano leaves
1 cup packed brown sugar

1. In a large bowl, combine all spices, mixing well.
2. Store in a large quart canning jar, in a cool, dark place--NOT in the cabinet above your store (like I did once)
3. Use on every kind of meat that you cook--either on the grill or oven or broiler!
