|The front 2 rows are filled with Blythe relatives to watch some small town basketball! Awesome to have family close enough to want to cheer on our boys.|

- Ten high school sports games,
- Nine helpful neighbors,
- Eight hungry barn cats,
- Seven Flint Hills pastures,
- Six cows a'calving,
- Five awesome kids!
- Four special friends,
- Three old red barns,
- Two cotton work gloves,
- and a Cow Dog to work beside me.
But nothing beats family! We have great aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents and siblings all within a 2 1/2 hour drive. We get together for holidays, and fun times throughout the year. We are here to help when my father-in-law got sick, and they are here for us when we need them. They come to our sports events; we help at their bull sale. They support our decisions; we support theirs. Family is a verb, as well as a noun. We are connected--not just by blood, but by love.
